Vitamin and fatty-acid rich, tallow's use as a skincare ingredient dates back centuries, prized for its unique compatibility with human skin.

Our balm features 100% grass-fed and finished beef tallow sourced from regenerative-practicing Canadian farms with just eight additional ingredients, each purposefully selected to enhance the tallow's effectiveness. 

BEST FOR

Normal to dry, dehydrated and mature skin.

This formula has a comedogenic rating of 2 (out of 5), meaning it is unlikely to clog pores. However, due to its occlusive (moisture-sealing) properties, it may be less suitable for very oily or acne prone skin.

If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, a patch test is always recommended before fully incorporating any new product into your routine.

IMPACT

Tallow makes use of pre-existing agricultural byproduct. We source ours from regenerative-practicing farms and produce in small batches so our impact is low, but acknowledge that scale can change things and remain committed to reassessing our footprint as we grow.

HOW TO USE

Apply to clean, damp skin, or over your preferred serum as the last step in your AM and/or PM skincare routine. Rub any excess into neck, décolletage or cuticles.

FOR BEST RESULTS

The job of the balm is to nourish the skin and create an occlusive layer that seals in moisture throughout the day, so applying over a layer of hydration (damp skin) is key.
