CLEAN AT SUEET
What clean means to us.

'Clean' is not a regulated term, and its meaning has become largely obscured in recent years. That said, it does represent a standard still worth striving for, if we’re honest in defining it. So here’s what it means to us at Sueet Skin:
SAFE FOR SKIN
We're choosy and proud of our ingredient selection. If there’s a credible concern about safety, we don’t include it.
MINIMALIST BY DESIGN
We use fewer ingredients on purpose, aiming for elegant formulations in which every element has a reason to be there. No filler, no redundancy, nothing unnecessary to expose your skin to.
THOUGHTFUL SOURCING
We aim for traceability and sustainability. But “clean” sourcing is complex, and the truth is, every material has a footprint. We're committed to making informed choices, staying curious, and improving as we grow.
What we don’t do in the name of being clean:
NO GREENWASHING
For example, we use tallow in our balm—a byproduct of the meat industry. Cows aren’t raised for skincare, but we acknowledge our existence as part of that system. We source from regenerative farms and produce in small batches so our impact is low, but recognize that scale changes things, so stay committed to continuously reassessing our sourcing, our formulas and our footprint as we evolve.
NO FEAR-BASED MARKETING
We don’t villainize certain ingredients to jump on a trend. Just because something is natural doesn’t mean it’s safe. Just because it’s synthetic doesn’t mean it’s bad. We don’t deal in absolutes—we deal in context.
NO PERFECTION POSTURING
“Clean” isn’t a destination. It’s a practice. We’ll keep adapting, refining, and questioning what we do. That’s the promise.
