What clean means to us.
Clean is not a regulated term, and through marketing trends, its meaning has become largely obscured. That said, it represents a standard worth striving for — if we're honest in defining it. So here is what it means to us at Sueet.
What we do
Safe for skin
We are choosy and proud of our ingredient selection. If there is a credible concern about safety, we do not include it.
Minimalist by design
We use fewer ingredients on purpose, aiming for elegant formulations in which every element has a reason to be there. No filler, no redundancy, nothing unnecessary to expose your skin to.
Thoughtful sourcing
We aim for traceability and sustainability. But clean sourcing is complex, and the truth is, every material has a footprint. We are committed to making informed choices, staying curious, and improving as we grow.
What we don't do
No greenwashing
We use tallow in our balm — a byproduct of the meat industry. Cows are not raised for skincare, but we acknowledge our existence as part of that system. We source from regenerative farms and produce in small batches.
No fear-based marketing
We do not villainize certain ingredients to jump on a trend. Just because something is natural does not mean it is safe. Just because it is synthetic does not mean it is bad. We do not deal in absolutes — we deal in context.
No perfection posturing
Clean is not a destination. It is a practice. We will keep adapting, refining, and questioning what we do. That is the promise.
